Megan Hilts

Megan Hilts is the current president of Newcomers. She moved from Jersey City to Ridgewood with her husband and two boys in January 2022. She is originally from Upstate NY and decided to look for a home here after driving by it for many years on her way Upstate. Megan is so thankful she found Newcomers shortly after moving to town. She has found good friends, fun and a sense of community since joining. 

Ashley Latham

Ashley Latham is the Vice President of Ridgewood Newcomers. She is from Toronto, Canada, and moved to Ridgewood with her husband, Matthew, and two little ones in December 2022. When relocating from Canada, they landed on Ridgewood as Matthew grew up in the area and they wanted to build a home somewhere with a straightforward commute to NYC, a thriving community, great public schools, and access to nice restaurants. Ashley has been a member of the Newcomers Board since 2023 and is grateful for the new friends and sense of community she’s gained through her involvement.

Kerry White

Kerry White is the past president of Newcomers, leading the organization in 2023-2024. She moved from New York City to Ridgewood in October 2020. Having grown up in the area, Kerry and her husband, William, were looking for a walkable neighborhood with favorable commutes to the city.  With two young boys now, they delight in all Ridgewood has to offer families — from activities such as the Fourth of July and Oktoberfest to a perfect Sunday seeing friends on walks to the farmers market.
