Caitlin Burns

Caitlin Burns, this year's Newcomers President, lives in the Willard neighborhood with her husband Jim (who happens to be a Willard graduate himself), daughter Lucy (born Feb. 2019) and son James (born Dec. 2020). Caitlin is originally from the DC area but quickly fell in love with Ridgewood and all it has to offer. Caitlin is so glad she listened to everyone who urged her to "Join Newcomers!" because she has met so many amazing friends and learned so much about this incredible town through the Newcomers community. A recovering NYC lawyer, Caitlin now runs HR for a small snack company.

Danielle Konzelmann

Danielle is Vice President of Newcomers, and has lived in town since August 2019. She is originally from Oregon, and works as a matrimonial attorney. Before moving to Ridgewood, she knew only a handful of people. Her husband, Scott Konzelmann, grew up in Bergen County, so when their family (including 3 little boys) outgrew their place in Hoboken, they quickly determined Ridgewood was the right town for their family. She attended her first Newcomers event the day after moving to town and is so grateful that Newcomers has helped her family immerse themselves in this community.

Ashley Lott

Ashley is Past President of Newcomers, and has lived in town since August 2016. She moved to Bergen County from Jersey City (and before that NYC) at the encouragement of her husband, Chris Russo, who grew up in Oradell. She is originally from Alabama and didn't know a soul in Ridgewood before moving here. She will always be grateful to Newcomers for welcoming her to the Ridgewood community and introducing her to some of the very best friends a gal could have. She has two little girls and one boy, and lives in the Willard neighborhood. By day (and sometimes night), she is also a tech attorney.
